UK-India Leaders Conference Scheduled at UK Parliament ; Discussions on FTA and Synergy

The Europe-India Centre for Business and Industry (EICBI) is happy to announce the commencement of the UK-India Leaders Conference, which will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at the UK Parliament in London.

The UK India Leaders Conference, which is EICBI 27th session at the UK Parliament, will focus on topics such as the progress made by India-UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA) negotiations and its future, improving India-UK relations beyond trade and the geopolitical challenges faced by the UK and India. The conference, which will be attended by various dignitaries from the UK and India, will provide a detailed outlook on the developments of business relations between the two countries, how the ongoing geopolitical scenarios will affect them, and what can be done to overcome the challenges the scenario will present.

The conference will be the 32nd conference to be held in the UK by the Europe-India Centre for Business and Industry (EICBI), which has been at the forefront of fostering UK-India and EU-India trade relations for the past 13 years. The conference, with eminent speakers , will discuss topics such as the development, future, and impacts of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between UK and India, which has completed 14 rounds of negotiation from January 2022 till date, and the geopolitical challenges faced by the India and UK relationship. The conference also provides an opportunity for discussions between business leaders and other dignitaries.


The Europe India Centre for Business and Industry (EICBI) is a European Commission registered geopolitical forum, dedicated to advancing Track 1.5 Diplomacy initiatives for fostering trade, and enhancing relations within the India UK & India EU corridor since the past 13 years. The organisation achieves its objective by conducting summits, conferences, campaigns, webinars, dignitary visits and other activities to bring various stakeholders in the UK India and EU India corridor . Over the past 13 years, EICBI and its associate organisation have organized the visits of five British MPs to India, arranged a total of 31 summits in Europe including 26 at the UK parliament in London and 5 at the EU parliament in Brussels
