Who we are

Europe India Centre for Business and Industry is an independent, nonpartisan organisation that promotes business opportunities across various sectors between India and UK/ EU. Europe India Centre for Business and Industry was formed to make Indian companies aware of the business opportunities in the UK/ EU and vice versa. EICBI activities are managed by India based Section 8 organisation, Sivaleen  Foundation for Developed India, which is also 80 G and 12 A certified.

 

The organisation's mission is to promote trade and investment between India and European Union/ UK and provide a platform for companies and businessmen who wish to become part of the India- EU/UK trade community. With seasoned professionals at the helm, the organisation also provides all the ground support required for companies to expand and flourish in the EU, UK and India.

Despite operating with modest resources, EICBI has persevered through challenging circumstances. Both India and Europe are rich in diversity and poised to remain global leaders in the years ahead. Through our initiatives, we aim to encourage Europe to look beyond India's perceived shortcomings. Achieving this requires more than just a change in messaging—it calls for a deliberate effort to amplify stories that inspire and highlight the transformative potential of collaboration between these two regions. At the same time, we believe it is essential for young Indians to gain a more nuanced perspective of Europe—one that goes beyond its idealized image—so they can engage with it in a more meaningful way. We are proud to serve as a bridge, fostering cooperation and understanding between these two vibrant regions.

OBJECTIVES

 

Europe India Centre for Business and Industry intends to focus on the following objectives.

 

• Organise sector-specific summits across EU/ UK/ India to showcase the opportunities in various sectors in India and the EU/ UK.

• Work with various stakeholders in UK/ EU to facilitate business and investments from India to European Union/ UK.

• Work with state governments and businesses in India to facilitate business and investments from European Union/ UK to India.

• Liaison with EU/ UK companies to get their projects implemented and nurtured in India.

• Liaison with Indian companies to get their projects implemented and nurtured in the EU/ UK.

• Setting up an EU - India Parliamentary Working Group to have regular discussions amongst the elected representatives from the EU and India.
